Wonderfully Warm Weather

Woohoo!

The College is coming ALIVE! Spring is here! Everyone is out and about enjoying the warmth! I have been soaking up as many of the rays I possibly could over this weekend. On Friday I spent 3 hours outside, tanning and basking. There were many different people who would come, join me and my Big, Kaitie, and then leave when they had to. We started at 1:30 just with the two of us, sitting outside the dorm. By 4:30 we had a large group of people, people putting SunIn in their hair, people rolling up their sleeves, people chatting with us and telling us hilarious stories. Almost everyone who walked past us came to say hi and chatted for a minute or 50. It was wonderful, and the good mood continued into Saturday.
On Saturday we had an Open House and, as an Ambassador (the people who give the tours), I got to meet a whole bunch of new Albrightians and welcome them to the family. I also got to help out a few who are still on the fence. Either way I got to meet many amazing students and their parents. For dinner we, my Big, Kaitie, and another Alpha Phi Omega family member, Jess, ordered pizza and ate outside where even more people joined us. It was fabulous.
I then went to the Domino Player Lock In. The Lock In is when the members of the Domino Players, and future inducties all spend the night in the theater. We had pizza (more!), played games, did Russian yoga, had a talent show, and played even more games. Some people sleep over in the theater, and other don't. I was worn out from my day, so I went home to my own bed.
Today is still glorious, but here I sit, typing away, getting down to my homework, and other indoor tasks that must be attended too. Right now I am about to go be part of the Diversity Week picture! We are dressing in bright rainbow colors and spelling DIVERSITY!
