Still my favorite place

So this past Saturday we had a Breast Cancer Awareness football game! It went really well for the first time doing it and we raised a lot of money..here is a picture of the Cheerleading team after the game :)
We got to cheer with pink poms and pink bows which were really cute!!
Hopefully Albright will continue to have this game every year at a football game and it will get bigger and better!

Anyway, so I was out there..it was a beautiful fall day (wayyy better than last week in the POURING rain), cheering on our football team who is doing really great this year, and it made me think of this paper I wrote freshmen year. It had to be about your favorite place on campus..and I was thinking about the paper and what I wrote and even now, after four football seasons later, it is still my favorite place :)
So here is the paper....

Favorite Place
My favorite place on Albright’s campus is Shirk Stadium. I love it there because the view is phenomenal. Shirk Stadium is very lit up and colorful, with brand new shiny red seats and silver steps and handrails. Also the new turf is so pretty. Everything is painted so perfectly and neat. It looks like a picture of a field but it is the real thing. My favorite part of the stadium is the view. When you are sitting on the home side, behind the visitor’s seats, you can see the huge mountain in the background. The mountain has so many shades of green and it looks like a painting against the blue sky. If you look close you can see the old firehouse standing with a single light on the top of it. At night you can see the moon rise over the mountain and see it from anywhere in the stadium. I think it looks so peaceful and tranquil when your there alone, but I also like it there because it reminds me of the excitement of a football game. With the smell of hot dogs, all the fans, the scoreboard lit up, the press box full and the shiny red seats full of energized Albrightians.

Some other things I noticed Saturday that I didn't put in the paper are that i love how you can see the chapel over the visitor stands and also some buildings, I like how you can actually see campus when your cheering the team on, makes you feel more spirited and Collegiate...Also I really like when you can see the clouds move across the top of the mountain. Saturday was also Halloween and it looked so cool with the gray clouds moving across so quickly. And I wrote the paper in September...the view is way better in October when all the leaves are all oranges and yellows and reds...the whole mountain looks sooo beautiful!!

ps. SOO sad I only have one game left!!!
