So this week is well deserved! I had 3 tests last week and was going a little crazy, but that's what happens during Mid Terms Week! Now I'm on spring break and have been having the time of my life!!!! So has anyone heard of Boyce Avenue?! Because I have and I am in love!!! <3 My roommates and I play their music constantly in our apartment, so I finally had the opportunity to see them live! What are the chances that they would be playing 40 minutes from my house on the 1st Saturday of spring break? I'm not sure, but I'm not questioning it. So I brought home one of my roommates and had my best friend from home come along too! We left Friday after I got done with work. It usually takes me 2 hours to get home (I drive kind of fast...) but this time it took 3.5 because of some random traffic! So we got to my house, said hi to my parents for a little while and went to bed. Then Saturday was concert time!!! We went to the concert and it was probably THE BEST CONCERT EVER! Boyce Avenue does mainly covers, but they also have originals and everything is awesome! So look them up on youtube and fall in love :)
Then Sunday my roommate and I went to New York. I seriously love that city! My dad dropped us off at Central Park and we walked around, taking pictures, climbing castles and eating DELICIOUS Belgium waffles from a vendor. We had such a fun day and the weather was gorgeous! Then we were done walking around after navigating a decent portion of the park and we went on the subway to Washington Square. I was a little turned around when we got off, but eventually made it to the park where we walked around and met up with my parents again. They took us to McSworley's since it's such a right of passage for any 21 year old, according to my parents and then we went to Little Italy for dinner. So overall, I'd say a pretty awesome day! We hung out that night and then went to bed kind of early! We were still trying to recuperate from last week!
Today I took my roommate to the Mall where I work, we had lunch, visited my dad's work and said hi to my grandma and uncles (it's a family business!) and then I drove to Bethlehem. We met up with her dad and sister at a Wendy's and then I was on my way home again. So overall, it's been quite an entertaining weekend! I now have to buckle down and get work done, but I'm SOO glad I got to have such a wonderful weekend to start off my spring break :)
