Question. What do Atlantic City, theater productions, and the number 21 all have in common?
If your answer included the movie titles "21" or "Ocean's Eleven" you are mistaken, albeit very clever. All three actually pertain to experiences I've had over the past month! You see January 2nd was my 21st birthday. (Sidenote: you don't feel any differently, I promise). This benchmark age did allow my friends and I to make a trip to Atlantic City for an extended weekend and it did not disappoint. I felt exactly like George Clooney running a heist on a casino...until I started losing money, haha. It's funny how they never show you those parts of the movie. But how does theater fit into this paragraph? Well I performed in a play at school, of course! In addition to performing my duties as a resident assistant during the interim session, I spent a couple hours each day in a rehearsal for my first production since high school. My fellow FACE Shannon Rowe directed the piece and it was amazing. I loved getting back on stage and everyone seemed to enjoy watching the show as much as I did performing it. So when you future Albrightians get to college feel free to branch out into new interests; you've got a bunch of options here!
