Albright College

This summer has mostly consisted of me sitting behind a desk at the Schumo Center. While I enjoy my job very much, Albright can get a little lonely when your roommates are back home and the school feels deserted (well, it was quite busy with high school boys, but who wants to hang out with them?). So I was quite happy when the first week of August rolled around and Katie (my beautiful roommate) and I headed to Sea Isle to catch some rays. Because of my skin complexion, I usually only have to wear an spf of 4 or 8, nothing too much. I wasn't concerned at all about being at the beach and getting a little brown, as I've been to Mexico and Puerto Rico where the rays are much more intense and nothing ever happened to me. Unfortunately for me, my idiotic self forgot to put sunscreen on my back and I fell asleep on the beach for about three hours and of course, at the brightest time of the day. So three days later after the beach trip is over, I'm molting like a snake and it may be the nastiest thing I've ever experienced. I've seen it happen to a million other people, but never thought it would happen to me and it's gross and itchy and who would think Jersey would do such a horrible thing to me!?! lol, it's Karma for me saying Jersey stinks! lol, I usually only say that to people from Jersey, they get so heated, it's funny.

Anyways, Katie's coming down this weekend and we plan to make use of the pool and I know she's going to laugh at me for getting burnt, especially since she warned me. Oh well, I'll just have to take it, that's what I get for being cocky! Two more weeks until school starts and I can't wait (although I'm not looking forward to my economics course, I never quite understood math)! Well parts of me can, the parts that aren't ready to graduate.
