Intern It Up!

Hello all,

This week I just started an internship with an Investment firm called Cornerstone Financial Strategies. Though I have only worked 3 days so far, I am rather excited about it.

With internships, sometimes you seem to be the company's secretary or receptionist than anything else. This is not the case with my internship with Cornerstone.

On the first day, my internship supervisor had a two hour conversation with me about different investment strategies and how I was going to help their firm and their clients.

The second day, my other supervisor already had me working on a brand new project researching a relatively new mutual fund strategy for investors.

So far this is a great experience and I cannot wait to see what the next weeks have in store for me.

On a side note, I am not getting paid for this internship but am receiving class credit instead which is great as well receiving great knowledge on a field that I am interested in!
