Happy 4th!

So, it recently hit me (i.e. in the last 3 days) that we are already making our way into July. A lot of it started when another person at my new job (teacher's aide for the summer) made a statement about it being June 31st which, of course, does not exist! So, that meant it was July...

I'm getting excited to be able to head back to Albright for classes in a little more than a month and a half, though this time it is definitely bittersweet. This will be the last time that I start classes in the fall as it is my senior year. :( BUT, I am super-duper excited to get back and get into the swing of things with friends, professors, etc., etc. I traveled my super long 35-minute journey to Albright last week to work in the Admission Office, and BOY was I excited when I finally stepped foot on campus. It was so neat to be able to see the progress that had been made to the new Science center -- though I'm a math major, I'm thrilled that we are getting a new science building! It's always so nice to return "home"...

So, I don't have any huge plans for the weekend. I'll probably go see fireworks on Saturday, but that will be about all. I am actually anticipating the return of the work week on Monday, as I get to return to my job. This will be week 2 of my summer Extended School Year program where I work as a teacher's aide for learning support students. It's a 5-week long session, and this coming week we take our class on a field trip. It's just a lot of fun to get to hang out with these kids. Each of them have their own attitudes and habits that just make me laugh!

Since it is summer, and I know you are probably excited to return to the beautiful weather that awaits outside, I will keep this one short. I'm pretty long-winded otherwise, so be prepared!
