So, I survived! Finals are over, a majority of my RA responsibilities are taken care of, and I am just about mentally exhausted. I studied my life away, so I hope it has paid off! I am just so happy to have a bit of a break now. I'm "on duty" (I walk through the building to make sure everything's OK) tomorrow night, so it will be a nice, quiet, easy night. With no one here, save a few people, I'm not expecting trouble. I need it after this week. I leave here for home on Sunday. It's always crazy, high-energy at my house. Living with three highly active brothers will do that. But I can't wait for my own comfy bed and home-cooked meals and immediate access to family and friends. And work again.
I can't wait for the holidays! I get to see my whole extended family, all my friends. It's just such a loving time! And the great food, of course. I tend to just pick at things, I'd rather talk to people, but what I do eat is simply wonderful.
I'll be around Albright over the January Semester (we call it Interim). Just to see people and to work; I'm not taking a class. But I can't wait! I love being at school when there's no classes. Snow days are the absolute best! But I digress. It also helps that my birthday is in January. After we get back to school though. But my family and I will celebrate it early, just to get everyone together again. And I'll get to invite some friends of mine, both old (from HS or elementary school) and new (from Albright). I can't wait. It's always a fun time.
Well, I'll give you an update during the Interim. But for now, Happy Holidays and have a safe New Year's!
