Catching Fire

I cannot believe that there is only a month left of this semester!  Yesterday one of my housemates said to me “only thirteen months until we graduate.”  I told him to never say that again and freaked out both internally and externally.  I cannot even imagine leaving Albright.  Even though I know that I am going to Hershey after I graduate it is still really scary!  So many things have been going on.  April is a crazy, hectic month!  Two weeks ago we had our Spring Concert, which featured Mike Posner and We the Kings.  I got to meet both of them and they were incredibly cool.  Especially We the Kings, they just sat and talked to us for a while and they were incredibly down to earth and fun.  The concert was so much fun and incredibly successful.  We did not have classes last Friday so I was able to go home!  I had not been home since Christmas, and even though I absolutely love Albright and hate leaving it, it was really nice to be home for a couple of days.  This is such a hectic time of the semester because I am in the process of trying to figure out my summer plans while simultaneously trying to get everything set up for next year. 

            Did anyone see the Hunger Games????  I’m assuming everyone in the world did considering how much it is cleaning up at the box office!  I saw it at midnight with some of my friends, and I absolutely loved it.  So much that I even went and saw it again less than one week later.  I am also a big fan of the books so I was really happy that they stayed true to Suzanne Collins incredible source material.  I also have a new obsession with Jennifer Lawrence and cannot stop watching interviews with her.  She is so funny and seems so normal, especially for a celebrity!  My parents got me a mockingjay pin for Easter and I have been wearing it pinned to my jacket all week.  Every tour that I have given this week has noticed my pin and said something about it.  Everyone loves the Hunger Games!!  I cannot wait for Catching Fire! 

            I’m very excited to meet some of the accepted and deposited students this Sunday.  I’ll most definitely be wearing the symbol of the rebellion!!  Hope to see everyone there!
