Alas, the summer ends and Albright begins...again. First day of classes went extremely well, my schedule isn't back-to-back like it was last year. Since the conclusion of work for Summer Conference Staff, I returned home to Georgia. It was quite the mini-vacation home--my older brother had mid-tour vacation from Afghanistan, thus we did a lot of chillin'. Also, my little brother started college before I did, so the Trujillo clan made the journey to Laurinburg, NC, to get him moved in and settled. It was very exciting, I told my little brother the experiences and tips about starting off college. I'm very proud of him going into a college to do something he loves, which is equestrian school, and he's pretty skillful handling the large horses and riding...not only that, but he's also wrestling...yea, so skillful, practically insane haha, but I'm happy that he's taken my advice and jumping in with both feet with the college realm.
When we came back from NC, my older brother and I drove around town, chilled out, slept in...the awesome things in life where we can enjoy ourselves with worry. He did return back to Afghanistan to finish up his tour and will be back on base in January, and I can't wait to see him then...I actually put a bug in his ear about visiting good ol' Albright when he gets out, told him that if wants to go to college, come to Albright for the experience! Anywho, as he left, my little brother off to college, and I departing back to Albright. It's the first time in thirty years that my momma and dad has every one of their boys (4 of us brothers, no sisters) out of the house, they may or may not be throwing a party.
Anyways, I flew back to Philadelphia, took a train out to Colmar, and was picked up by car by my good friends...quite the day of traveling. Move-in day was a bit nerve racking, but I was more excited to start this semester and see all my friends again. This first day gave me some good feeling about this year between the classes, teachers, and other events that are happening around campus!
