New Musak: Johnny Cash's American IV. Possibly in the top 5 greatest albums I've ever heard. So tragic its tough to get through actually. His last album to be released before his death. Awesome.
New Movie: Burn After Reading See this movie. Hilarious. Completely irreverent.
Word of the Day: Shunpike - a side road used to avoid the toll on or the speed and traffic of a superhighway. As Costard says, "I will never buy or sell out of this word."
It is nearly time, folks, for Love's Labour's Lost. It has been an interesting process - full of blood, sweat, and yes, tears - but what worthy activity isn't? Our first Shakespeare attempt in five years, Albright audiences will have their hands full as the cast twists and turns through his wordplay - of which this play is especially full. Unfortunately, I have just come down with Strep throat. Boo. So i'm not speaking in any of the dress rehearsals. Hey, it makes it interesting.
We had the haunted house in the theater about two weeks ago for Halloween. It was a fairly decent success. We raised close to $200. Good stuff.
I can't actually believe that the semester is going to be winding down soon. What happened to it? We are talking about festival and starting work on "Three Penny Opera" which opens in February. Senior year is fleeting.
Ah well - so it goes. Come see Love's Labour's Lost this weekend and next weekend at the Wachovia Theater. It'll be a smashing time.
All, folks.
