Hello!
It is July 1st, summer is in full swing! It is hot (when it is not raining) and I have been to more outdoor sporting events then I ever thought I would be interested in attending in my entire life. I am staying at Albright this summer working at the Summer Conferences Office, which handles all the camps that pass through in the summer. There are bunches of different types from music to sports to teambuilding camps.
Albright in the summer has a fewer number of students, only the summer cla…

Hello All!
It is a very busy time of year of all students right now, everything is wrapping up, and professors are trying to keep your attention while the outside is calling to you. All of us at Albright are running around spending time studying, spending time with friends that we will not see over the summer, and planning the hours full of NOTHINGNESS that we plan to do over the summer.
I am trying to stay focused, but it is a challenge. I am almost done though. I am counting the assignments. F…

Woohoo!
The College is coming ALIVE! Spring is here! Everyone is out and about enjoying the warmth! I have been soaking up as many of the rays I possibly could over this weekend. On Friday I spent 3 hours outside, tanning and basking. There were many different people who would come, join me and my Big, Kaitie, and then leave when they had to. We started at 1:30 just with the two of us, sitting outside the dorm. By 4:30 we had a large group of people, people putting SunIn in their hair, people r…

Hello All!
We recently had a short break, Tyler mentioned that his was too short, for Easter. We had Friday and Monday off. I did not go home for break, I stayed in the dorms. None-the-less, my break was neither lonely or boring.
My two best friends, who are both in the Navy stationed with Marines in Camp Lejuene, North Carolina came to visit me for the weekend. They arrived Friday night and left Monday morning. We had a blast! They met many of my friends who stayed for the break as well, so my…

Hello All!
It is now the second? or third? week of school. It matters not that I do not remember the week so long I as have all my homework complete... Which I don't. Yet. But trivial things....
Anyways. The semester has been amazing. In the past twenty four hours I have been reminded over and over again just why I decided to come to Albright, besides the pretty colors in the computer center.
Last night was a Monday night, but not just any Monday night, Monday night February 9th, which is the 15…

Hello All!
On Thursday, January 15th, the Domino Players participated in the Kennedy Center American College Theater Festival at the Regional level. We preformed William Shakespeare's Loves Labours Lost. It was the best performance so far. The actors were amazing, the costumes looked wonderful, hair make-up, everything went so smoothly. Not to mention the fact that the audience was by far the best and most responsive audience the Domino Players had for L.L.L.
My day started at 4 o'clock in the m…

And so it starts!
I made it through the first week of my three week Interim semester course. Let me tell you something. It is SO MUCH FUN! Interim is not as hectic as Spring or Fall semsters, there are not even half the people and it is quiet and slow paced. A lot of my friends are here, and I have made new friends to boot too! And the Domino Players (the on-capmus theater company) made it to KCACTF (the Kennedy Center American College Theater Fesitval) hosted in Philadelphia this year. We are p…

Hello All!
I hope your holidays were fantastic and your vacation was too! I went to Rhode Island to see my friends and to Florida to be with my parents, sister and Memere (a Frech-ish word for grandmother). Did anyone do anything fantastic? I did!
My mother anf father took my sister and I on a cruise to the Bahamas. Memere also came, along with my sister's best friend. It was four days of delicious gormet food, dressing up for dinner, theatrical shows that blew my mind, and the warm rejuvinating…

Woooo....
Funny story. I am currently online, catching up on the weekends online activities, checking Facebook and emails, the like... I got an email from Albright saying to check my grades. So I immediately went to IQ Web, where you can see your grades, and took a peak. I got so excited, I did a little dance and celebrated because I got 3 As and a B. My sister asked if I was happy with the B, and I said yes. I sat down and looked at the screen again.
The As and B were my course sections. Introd…

Hello All!
Yesturday started the downhill cruise to the finish line. I only have four more days of classes and then four exams after that. You know when you are going downhill on a bike and it is fast and blurry, well, that is similar to these last two weeks. You are trying to get all of your work finished, hang out with your friends as much as possible because you won't see some of them for more than an month, and trust me, they are like your family. You are going to miss them. And as much as y…

Hello All!
This weekend, as some of you may very well know, was Albright's second Open House. And while it was just marvelous meeting perspective students, I must admit the highlight of the day came at the end, when the Ambassadors (the crazy people who give tours) ponded Loren Morgan. Loren is an Albright Alumna and as a student she was never ponded, so we figured it was due.
What is ponding you ask? Well, it is simple. On a your friend's birthday, you and other friends form a plan of attack, a…

Hello All!
Last weekend, October 25th, was the first Open House of the year! It was amazing, besides the weather which, for one reason or another, decided not to show off our beautiful campus. That is alright though, if you think Albright is pretty in the rain, then just wait till a goregous day!
All of the other Ambassadors (the group of wonderfully great students who give tours) and I met some really interesting people. We cannot wait to see their faces here again at Albright! As our peers an…

Hello everybody!
So much has happened since I last wrote/blogged, I don't really know where to start! I think however, since I am an Anthropology major, that we will start at the beginning...
In the beginning there was nothing, and then there was a Bang. Then 65 million year…

Hello All!
I am so very excited. School started on the 25th, and let me tell you, I have not stopped since! It is pure craziness! I am taking four classes: Food and Culture, Introduction to Anthropology, Sociological Statistics, and Spanish 301. My professors are all wonderful in their own way, and each of them has so much to teach me (and the rest of the class, of course...)!
The most exciting thing right now though is You Are Here. For those of you who have not yet been enlightened, You Are He…

Here it comes, the moment I have been so excited for all summer!
It is just around the corner, and while some of you are dreading leaving friends and family, I am so happy to be welcoming new people into an even bigger family, the ALBRIGHT FAMILY! New Student move in day is only 4 days, 12 hours, and 34 minutes away! I cannot wait to meet everyone! The staff, students, and POPs are starting to get excited and realize that all our hard work is almost going to pay off! We are so excited. You can f…
