And hello to all of you too! I am currently thawing out in my dorm, eating fresh home-made chocolate chip cookies (my mom loves me)! It go so cold so quickly, what happened to Fall? We might even get snow by the end of the week...I love snow, but this is all happening too fast! I want to slow down and enjoy my last year here, but the weather seems to have a different idea.
But, to update everyone:

It's so crazy that October has arrived already. I'm finally back into the swing of things with my insane schedule, but it's my senior year so I plan to enjoy it. However, I've already been sick, lost my voice twice, and various other ailments. Hopefully, I got them all out of my system early and I don't have to worry about it for a good long while.
Guess what tomorrow is? It's SPIRIT DAY!!! I get to go around with goodies and treats all day and deliver to anyone in red,…

Hello! I'm sure you missed me over the summer. I had a time and a half keeping track of multiple jobs, a summer course, and studying for the DATs. But I'm back now!
Well, as an RA and a POP, I was back earlier than most of the returning and incoming students. We had training and then Orientation started! Orientation is one of the memories that I will remember most fondly. It's one of teh BEST things about Albright College as a whole, and I loved being given the…

This semester has been a whirlwind. Actually, most of my college career has been that way (as proven by my Craziness and Insanity posts). I know most of you have about a month yet, but trust me, it goes by so quickly. Takes lots of pictures, you can bring those with you to college to show all your new friends your old friends. Make lots of memories because you will want to keep these with you as well. Mark-up your yearbook, be a paparazzi, write down your thoughts and feelings. You…

So the past few weeks have been busy to say the least. But very productive! Now, I just have what will be my two least favorite projects. Oral presentations. I absolutely loathe public speaking, so I knew these two would be an issue for me. But I will get through them. I promise. Somehow.
Otherwise, this semester will come to a close quite nicely. I just had my sorority Formal, which was a blast! I love to dance, so it was a great was to de-stress. And it was the…

Hello, all! It's been a while, so I thought I'd update you. Basically, I became a homework-aholic. Actually, I should be working on some now, but I gave myself a much needed study break. Time management is a major skill to learn in college and is so very useful to have. However, sometimes, there is just too much for for 24 hours to hold and it spills over. I've been working my brain to mush. But I see a possible small break ahead...hopefully...if I actually get everything I want to…

Alright! I am officially a POP and an RA next year. I am so very excited! It's so crazy to think that it will be my senior year. But I'm getting ahead of myself now...
Spring Break is upon us! While I'm not really going anywhere special or doing anything fantastic, it will still be a nice break...full of work! I'm working at my home-job, volunteering, and giving tours here on campus through break. And when I'm not doing all that, I'll be doing my homework. I have a few…

It's been a few weeks now. Life is going at it's normal pace: 1,000 miles a minute. But I'm keeping up on homework and studying. And of course I got my Winter Cold and am now getting over it. I survived my 21st birthday (not that I didn't expect to, of course). As well as: Recruitment (for my sorority), RA re-application, and RA Selection Day. Next up: POP's Selection Day. That's always an incredibly fun day and it happens to be next Sunday. POPs are our Orientation Leaders, and we're…

Classes start tomorrow! This is so crazy. Time is flying, but I'm sure it is for all of you as well! I can't believe that vacation is over already. And I still need to get all of my books! That's the plan for tomorrow during lunch: spend an exorbitant amount of money to buy the books I need for the semester. Somehow I'm not exactly looking forward to that. But seeing everyone will be nice. I've missed all my friends. They're my family away from home. That's why it's so important to…

I hope everyone's holidays were happy and healthy, and full of good food! I know mine was! I am loving break, but I'm starting to get that itch where I'm ready to get back to Albright. I miss everyone. Even the classes!
I've been working a lot now that I'm home, but I couldn't go in yesterday because I was sick. I work in an assisted living home and caught whatever bug was circulating there! It was no fun! Thankfully, I'm feeling much better today.
A…

So, I survived! Finals are over, a majority of my RA responsibilities are taken care of, and I am just about mentally exhausted. I studied my life away, so I hope it has paid off! I am just so happy to have a bit of a break now. I'm "on duty" (I walk through the building to make sure everything's OK) tomorrow night, so it will be a nice, quiet, easy night. With no one here, save a few people, I'm not expecting trouble. I need it after this week. I leave here for home on Sunday. It's…

Welcome to another update on the crazy life of Emilee Hart! Finals Week is here! Ugh. I am studying my brain into mush for my Physics Exam tomorrow morning. But I figured I could use a break and update you on my life here at Albright. Well...my life has been busy.
I went to four formals in the past month and a half. My own sorority's as well as each of the fraternities' formals. I had a blast! I love to dance, so they are definitely my cup of tea. I borrowed two dresses and…

Hello all! School has officially started! I am bogged down with work and have been exceptionally busy with extra-currictulars. I am helping to choreograph a routine for my sorority for Airbands (a dance competition during Homecoming). I am taking a Little as well; so I have been craftying up a storm! She'll find out who I am tomorrow; I'm so super excited! My Individual Ripple Program for the column I RA is also tonight. Add classes (with tests!) on top of all that, and I have been a…

I apologize for the hiatus. My internet service provider (who shall remain nameless) hates my house. I had no internet whatsoever for a full month! It was torture! But I'm back at school now. Gosh, I had missed it.
So, quick recap of school life up until today: I got to move-in early! I love my first day of dorm-life. Even if I don't sleep well for the first few nights (I refer to them as Adjustment Nights). I went through double training: POPs and RAs. So busy! But…

So, I'm a Potterhead. I've read all the books...at least twice..or more. I've seen all the movies. I've cried and laughed and worried and relaxed with Harry and co. Hermione was always my favorite, but I love Draco as well. In my head, I always wanted them to end up together. For her to overcome her pride, and for him to over come his prejudice...wait, that sounds familiar. But I like her and Ron together, he keeps her light-hearted, and she keeps his feet on the ground.
But as…

Basically, it was filled with work, family, and friends (with some shopping in there, of course!). But life has been crazy here! I am, however, proud to report that I have a relatively steady gym schedule at the Albright gym. I feel so much better after hitting the gym, don't you?
I just got back from one of my brothers' soccer games. They WON! And he almost scored...almost; this gives me opportunity to tease him. We teased each other about music on the way home. One of his…

My brother is too. He'll be a senior this year, so he'll start getting ready for applications this Summer. He's such a soccer star. I'm proud of him, but I'm trying to get him to choose a school for more than the soccer program. He needs to find a school that fits him, and not just his soccer skills. So, in light of his search, I've a bit of advice if you are where he is:

Alright, so, I've been home for exactly a week now. It's such a great feeling. But, no worries, I've kept busy! I have a few jobs lined up for Summer, and I just got back from visiting Washington, D.C. for the first time yesterday. I had a blast! A friend of mine took my picture by the Vietnam Memorial (see profile picture) without me knowing. I was taken to the Natural History and Air and Space Museums, to a few of the monuments, and to a couple of the memorials. I already want to go…
