A Trip Down Memory Lane

Well, it is nearly the end of break for those Albrightians heading back for Interim classes. However, for us very lazy ones, this is not true, though work will start with the commencement of Interim (so I guess that makes me not so lazy). Zombies in Germany

My program with ISA- international studies abroad- ended December 19th. Almost everyone returned home to spend the holidays with their families back in America. I however, went to Germany to spend Christmas and New Years with my sister-in-law in Germany.

~Hawaii Interim~

I've been really excited all semester because for my interim course im Studying Whales in HAWAII!!!!!!

Fun in the Albright Admission Office

First Week of Break

So its Monday on my first week of break. It is so relaxing right now. This semester must have been my most challenging semesters yet. I had to manage going to my internship in new york every monday and friday, go to classes all day every tuesday and thursday, work all day on wednesdays and the weekend, and figure out when I can study and do my homework for my classes. Relaxing?!?!? and the semester that was

That's right, today I am doing absolutely nothing constructive...first time I could say that for a while. Finals are over, the semester is over, and now I can be a bum for two weeks. Yay!

1/2 way there!

Just finished my last final!!! I am officially half way done senior year!! It flewwww by :( I really feel like it was just the first day of class yesterday! Late Start

So I don't have my first final until tomorrow. Somehow, by luck I suppose, I had two take-home finals and two regular ones on Thursday and Friday. So I've been studying, relaxing, not feeling the pressure at all. I think this is the easiest finals week ever.

Late Night Breakfast

The Dean of Students office sponsored a Late Night Breakfast this week to kick off finals for the students. The kicker this year is that members of the President's Cabinet (Deans, Directors, and Vice Presidents) were the servers. So starting at 10 pm and ending at about 12:30 am we served students breakfast (and also cleaned up!). Things to not do at Albright

Yes, my GPA may be above a 3.0, but apparently I can't read signs, lol, or use my common sense.

To future Albrightians, driving through campus is probably not a good idea. Especially with our security. They take these rare incidences VERY seriously. I mean really, students could get run over by a car going 5 miles per hour on a road!

So, I know that I haven't blogged in a while, but her I am! The end of the semester is here, and that means two things, almost time to go home and FINALS! Finals are soooo intense these days, because your professors expect so much of you, but it's all good, gotta study and pray for the best....I guess.

January's classes

I am so excited for this upcoming January because I get to venture to Hawaii! I'm doing a course over our interim period which lets a group of kids go to Hawaii and observe whales. Not many colleges offer a months experience that will end up being fun and informative. I can not wait to go and watch humpback whales in the warm sun while all my friends are home in this cold winter weather. Procrastinating in my new home... the library

I'm so excited for dinner in the caf tomorrow. We are having a Christmas dinner; Christmas decorations all around, the food is catered, and we will even have some seafood...MY FAVORITE! Internship!!!

Well, it's the last week before finals. This has been a good semester. I have learned a lot from the classes I am taking. I have been an intern at a drug and alcohol rehabilitation counseling center. I got the chance to lead my own session. It was really fun. The session was on self esteem and positive affirmations. The women enjoyed the session, which made me feel good.
