It's time to pump
Did you know that every 2 seconds and about 1 in 5 people entering a hospital need blood.
So today, May 2nd, 2006 I donated blood on campus. I've done it several times before even though it's not one of my favorite things to do. It's tooo amazing to think that you could save 3 lives by just your 1 pint of blood. The fact that I wouldn't be alive today if it wasn't for a blood transfusion is quite powerful.
