I have talked to him a few times since hes been gone but it's hard because he is about 12 hours ahead in time to the U.S. I was just talking to him today and he mention that he has to leave Bangkok and head for safer area since riots just broke out where he is staying and its no longer safe. This weekend was full of memorable activities. The Open House was a great success, I got to sit on a student panel and answer questions for parents and prospective students. As I was leaving the open house to go back to my apartment I get a phone call from a friend, "Hey you wanna play some kickball?" My answer, YES! So this morning i had classes from 8 am to 4:20 pm and work in between and now im back in New York City for fashion week! I'm super excited! i can't believe that i go this amazing opportunity to work during fashion week and get to go to all these shows and see the shows first hand. Nearly everyone was gone for the holidays at the office which meant that my job for that day was to sit at the receptionist desk and make sure all the calls and packages were dealt with. Now, i have been working as a phone receptionist at the admissions office for about 2 years now but nothing could have prepared me for that day.
