the clock counts down...

Yes, it is definitely that time of the semester again... the days are numbered and few. Professors are realizing that we have just over 2 weeks of class left and they are trying to fit in as much information as possible! In some ways, I'm thrilled, in others I'm scared out of my mind! In 2 weeks, I will be taking my last set of final exams and then I will start my student teaching at the end of January. Don't get me wrong, I'm so thrilled to be in a classroom. My observations this semester have… Continue

Hi, everyone! It has been a crazy past few weeks, and I am happy to say that it will continue to be crazy until the end of the semester. I think I will be bored over break! Anyway, just wanted to update you all --- this coming weekend I will be in Seattle for a special conference for Education students. I am getting to go through our PA State Education Association, and I am looking forward to having a good time. I'm busy getting together lesson plans and questions for our Spring Conference Outre… Continue

Halfway there

This weekend is fall break.
I need it.
Desperately.

I feel like all I have been doing is running around for lots of things -- observations in the classroom (2 different schools!), class, homework, research for honors senior thesis paper, the list goes on! But, this fall break will not be spent relaxing. Instead, I am going to a concert for this wonderful, amazing group of men. Maybe you've heard of them? Celtic Thunder? Ohh yes, forgive me for watching watching PBS and being entranced by the si… Continue

Yea, i am looking forward to going there again and at Lycoming today they were talking about some of the new requirements and changes and things one thing i can remember is that we are going to have to do more hours of like observing and things like that before our acctual student teaching. i think it is like 100 and some. but i am not positive.
