Beowulf...

Okay, so I've never previously read Beowulf, but in my British Txts course it was our first assignment. I found the book to be interesting at times, and super boring in other instances. Overall it is a pretty good story. Hey, you've gotta respect the classics.

That Time of year...

It's that time of year. The weather is at it's climax, parents and students doing their last minute shopping at stores that are holding "sales", summer camps ending etc. That's right, it's back to school time! This year for me is going to be pretty cool. I'm going to be a junior, (sheesh I'm getting old) back on the E -Board in two organizations that I love on campus, (ACGE and AAS) and I have to begin to think about life after college and face that harsh reality known as, "The Real World". A bitter sweet end...

Well, I the program that I work at ends tomorrow, and I kind of have mixed emotions about it. While I am going to miss my students and the teachers that I work with, I will not, however, miss getting up at 6:30 every morning and going to bed earlier. I've truly enjoyed myself in my second year with the program and I pray that next year I'll get to enjoy a third.
